Spring 2018 Topsfield Home Show
Folks turned up from all over the North Shore and Greater Boston area to attend the Spring 2018 Home Show at the Topsfield Fairgrounds from April 20-22. The Works by JD team was there with over 120 other exhibitors, meeting with homeowners and answering questions at our third home show of 2018.
Visitors roamed through Coolidge Hall and the Trade Center where we were available to not only hear about innovative project ideas but also introduce some of the people on our team who help bring those ideas to life.
The turnout was fantastic and it was a wonderful opportunity for us to connect with our local community.
Hot Topics at the Spring Show
With outdoor living front of mind this time of year, it’s no surprise that we received lots of inquiries about exterior projects while at the home show. Decks, sheds, exterior painting, and restoration of winter weary features all rank high on the priority list as we get ready to spend more time outside. If you’re considering an exterior project, large or small, we’re ready to help.
Besides dreams of decks and outdoor living, a lot of people are looking at making their homes liveable for the next 30 or 40 years. Aging in place with barrier-free kitchen and bath remodels is a popular topic and one that we are doing a lot of work with. Watch for our upcoming blog series about aging in place, chock full of ideas about universal design and barrier-free improvements which any homeowner could benefit from.
