When he applied to WORKS all those years ago, he clearly had a love for carpentry, which was demonstrated in his own home. Jeff soon became a sought after professional carpenter. Here are a few questions I asked him recently about his role as a carpenter:

Jesse: What do you think is the biggest difference between do-it-yourself and professional carpentry?

Jeff: The quality. There is a level of quality I would be satisfied with for myself but not in the field. Professional carpenters produce high quality.

Jesse: What do you like best about being a professional carpenter?

Jeff: I love fine finishes. I love when I look at what I’ve done and I’m proud. I also like the character of old homes. I own a Cape myself in Beverly. Character is always a good thing in carpentry.

Jesse: How can our customers help us give them the fine carpentry they want at the price point they want?

Jeff: We need information. We need to know what finishes the customers are looking for; what kind of details, like molding, they want; and what materials they like. If they aren’t sure, we always bring brochures with us for different vendors and different price points. The brochures can give them some idea of what they might like.

Jesse: Thank you, Jeff.

Like Jeff, everyone on the WORKS team appreciates fine carpentry. We’ve made it our hallmark that craftsmanship shows in every cabinet, door, banister and architectural feature we install, customize or renovate. Contact us today and meet Jeff. You know you will receive quality carpentry at his hands.
